Former U.S. Olympian from Georgia tests positive for testosterone

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO - A two-time U.S. Olympic bobsledder was suspended for two years after flunking a drug test for testosterone in an out-of-competition exam at Lake Placid last summer. <br>

The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency said today that Chip Minton of Lizella, Georgia, tested positive at the Summer Push Championships last July 18. Lizella is located in Bibb County near Macon. <br>

Minton did not make the U.S. team for the Salt Lake City Games. He competed in the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympics. <br>

The 32-year-old Minton received the maximum suspension, which took effect February fifth. <br>
<br>
