DECATUR - A judge has sentenced a 13-year-old DeKalb County boy charged with killing a toddler who lived in the same foster home to 12 years, including four in custody. <br>

The sentence handed down Wednesday includes eight years on probation. <br>

The boy pleaded guilty last month to reduced charges of involuntary manslaughter and cruelty to children in the fatal beating of a 20-month-old girl. <br>
<br>
Police say Kentoya Robinson died of a blow to the head on May 19th, 2001, while in the boy's care.
