Students disciplined after knife fight at Cobb County school

POWDER SPRINGS - One student has been expelled and 13 others suspended after a February 14th fight at a Cobb County high school in which one student was stabbed. <br>

Schools superintendent Joe Redden would not release the names of those students at McEachern High School facing disciplinary action. <br>
<br>
But he said one boy - whom he identified as ``the one who used a weapon'' - was expelled and the rest are on suspension ranging from five days to the rest of the school year. <br>
<br>
A senior - 18-year-old Paris Allen - was stabbed in the back and leg with a Swiss Army knife and released from the hospital the next day. <br>
<br>
Seventeen-year-old Michael Jerome Parker is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a knife on school property.
