AUBURN, ALABAMA - Jeff Hourigan drove in two runs and Khalil Greene batted in another during a four-run sixth inning as Clemson beat Auburn 8-5 on Saturday. <br>

With the score tied at 1-1 in the bottom of the sixth, Clemson (2-0) took the lead for good. With the bases loaded, Auburn's Steve Register walked Clemson's Jarrod Schmidt. <br>

Hourigan then followed with a single, driving in two, and Greene drove in another, giving Clemson a 5-1 lead. <br>

Matt Henrie (1-0) earned the win, allowing one run and five hits and striking out five in six innings. <br>

Colby Paxton (2-1) took the loss for Auburn, allowing four runs and five hits and striking out one in a little more than five innings.
