AUGUSTA - A slumping economy and concerns over terrorism have softened demand for rental houses by corporate clients during Masters week in Augusta. <br>

Companies typically make plans before the new year. This year, many have waited until February. <br>

Masters week is like a 13th month of revenue for the hospitality industry in Augusta. Barry White - executive director of the Augusta Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau - says that even if big companies send fewer people, tickets won't go unused.
