New Zealander Wilson hopes to catch on as utility man

KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA - Travis Wilson, the New Zealander who was the Atlanta Braves spring phenom a year ago when he hit .415 in the spring but failed to make the major league club, says if he does it again this spring, the results might be different. <br> <br> Wilson said Thursday, ``It&#39;ll make it real difficult to not pick me. But, too, it&#39;s all according to what they want -- a right-handed bat or a left-handed coming off the bench.&#39;&#39; <br> <br> The 24-year-old Wilson led the Arizona Fall League in hitting at .373. <br> <br> Wilson said, ``But it&#39;s totally out of my hands. I&#39;ll take the same approach I did last spring when I came in with no expectations.&#39;&#39; <br> <br> After making it to Atlanta before being cut one day before the start of the regular season, Wilson went down to AA Greenville and hit .325 in 31 games before being promoted to AAA Richmond. He hit .243 there in 103 games.
