CONCORD - Police in Georgia have arrested a man who New Hampshire prosecutors want to charge with the death of a 6-week-old infant almost 20 years ago.
George Knickerbocker, who was formerly known as Nicky Robbins, was arrested in Rossville, Georgia, Sunday.
A Concord court issued an arrest warrant for Knickerbocker last week in the death of a baby identified as 'Adam R.'
The attorney general's office says Knickerbocker was the boyfriend of the baby's mother.
A 1983 autopsy report listed the baby's death as a homicide. Concord police investigated, but no arrests were made. The case was re-opened in 1998.
It's not known how soon Knickerbocker will be extradited to New Hampshire.
