DENVER - A prosecutor who's taking a new look at JonBenet Ramsey's slaying is to work with a retired police detective once hired by the girl's parents who believes an intruder killed her in 1996.
Boulder, Colorado, district attorney Mary Keenan says she would also focus on leads that had NOT been investigated previously.
Boulder Police Chief Mark Beckner said earlier this month that Keenan started an aggressive review of the case because JonBenet's parents, who have a home in Atlanta, and Wood do not believe police were following up on leads.
Beckner said the review could help the Ramseys and Wood feel more comfortable sharing information or leads with investigators.
