ATLANTA - Clarence Moore, who quit the Georgia Tech basketball team in August, has returned to practice.
He sat behind the bench this week during the Yellow Jackets' games against Georgia and Gardner-Webb.

``I'll never close the door, especially if someone is a good person,'' Georgia Tech coach Paul Hewitt said. ``We'll see.''
Moore, a 6-foot-5 forward, averaged 9.4 points and 5.4 rebounds last season and started 29 games. He approached Hewitt a few weeks ago about coming back, and if the other players agree to it, Moore could return later this month.
``It was his decision,'' guard B.J. Elder said. ``You have to respect that. He had his own reason. We were a little disappointed, but I think everyone would welcome him back.''
Without Moore, Georgia Tech has won its first three games, including an 83-77 victory over the Bulldogs.
