ATLANTA - Home Depot Incorporated said Wednesday it united its Midwest and Southwest divisions into one operating division, effective immediately. <br>

The home-improvement retailer said former Midwest division President Bill Patterson will head the newly created Central division, which will be based in Chicago and service 457 Home Depot stores. <br>

Patterson will also oversee the company's Mexico division. The Mexico operations will continue to be managed by Ricardo Saldivar, the division president. <br>
<br>
Joe Izganics, who had been the president of the Southwest division in Dallas, was named the president of the company's services unit in Atlanta. <br>
<br>
The company expects Izganics to help grow the services division, which specializes in home and commercial installations.
