AUBURN, ALABAMA - Marco Killingsworth scored 17 to lead five Tigers in double figures as Auburn beat South Carolina State 85-65 Wednesday night. <br>

It was Auburn's 300th win at Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum, which opened Jan. 11, 1969. <br>

The Tigers (4-1) led 46-33 at halftime, but South Carolina State closed the gap to 54-44 with 13:31 left in the game. A minute later, Auburn began a 12-4 run that pushed its lead to 67-48 and put the game out of reach. <br>

Marquis Daniels scored 16 points for Auburn, becoming the 27th player in school history to tally 1,000 points for his career. Kyle Davis added 13 points and 10 rebounds, the first double-double of his career. <br>

Moses Malone Jr. scored 15 to lead the Bulldogs (0-3). Dustin Braddick added 13 points and eight rebounds.
