ATLANTA - Governor Barnes and his wife, Marie, will be hosts of the annual lighting of the Holiday Tree for the last time before he leaves office. <br>

The tree lighting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Governor's Mansion in Atlanta. <br>

Barnes is completing the last days of his first term as governor. Republican Governor-elect Sonny Perdue will be sworn in next month after defeating Barnes in November.
