ROCK HILL, S.C. - Jermaine Boyette scored 27 points and John Hamilton added 23 as Weber State defeated Morris Brown 65-56 on Saturday in the consolation game of the Brothers Air and Heat Shootout at Winthrop Coliseum. <br>

The Wildcats (5-2) trailed 34-23 at halftime but rallied after the break shooting 39 percent (9-of-23) from the field and 45 percent (5-of-11) from 3-point range. <br>

The Wolverines (1-6) shot better than 58 percent (14-of-24) in the first half, then dropped to 31 percent in the second half. Akiem Claborn led Morris Brown with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Anthony Adams added 17 points. <br>

Boyette struggled from the field going just 5-for-17 but he was 15 of 20 from the free throw line. The Wildcats shot better than 90 percent from the foul line.
