BRUNSWICK - Robert Sullivan blocked a punt in the end zone for the game-winning touchdown as Joliet defeated Georgia Military College 24-14 to win the national junior college championship Saturday. <br>

Joliet (11-0) scored 24 unanswered points to come from behind and win its first championship over defending champion GMC (10-1). <br>

Sullivan blocked Clay Crisp's punt in the end zone, and Billy Glover recovered for the touchdown to give Joliet a 17-14 lead with 9:41 left in the fourth quarter. <br>

GMC, which had won 20 straight, had a chance to score near with 3:58 left in the game. Brian Staley intercepted a pass deep on the GMC 12-yard line, but the Bulldogs had to punt the ball away on fourth down. <br>

Then Joliet fullback Dorion Taylor scored from the 2 with 1:58 left to seal the victory.
