Assistant DA arrested at airport after scuffle

ATLANTA - A Fulton County Assistant District Attorney was suspended after being charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly fighting with an officer at Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport. <br> <br> Shannon Leigh Love, 30, was parked at a curb of the North Terminal on Saturday night while waiting for her elderly mother. Authorities said an officer told her she couldn&#39;t park there, and Love asked for the officer&#39;s name. <br> <br> Police said she then got out of her car and ripped the officer&#39;s badge from his clothes. The two struggled until other officers helped restrain her. <br> <br> Love&#39;s lawyer, Steve Lister, said she did not know the man was an officer because he was dressed in black fatigues. <br> <br> Love was taken to Clayton County Jail, charged with disorderly conduct, illegal parking, obstruction and damage to government property. <br> <br> A spokesman for the district attorney&#39;s office said Love has been suspended while District Attorney Paul Howard considers her permanent status with the office.
