ATLANTA - Two police officers were shot while serving a drug search warrant Wednesday night at a house in southeast Atlanta. <br>

One of the officers was wounded in the hand and the other was shot in the chest but was wearing a bulletproof vest, authorities said. They were in stable condition at Grady Memorial Hospital. <br>

``We are thankful that they are going to be OK,'' Police Chief Richard Pennington said after visiting the officers at the hospital. <br>
<br>
Three suspects were taken into custody. One of them also was shot and was reported to be in stable condition at Grady.
