ATLANTA - Brian Mimbs kicked a 39-yard field goal with eight seconds left in regulation and Brian Wallace scored his second touchdown of the game in overtime as Dublin beat Laney 20-13 in a Class AAA semifinal Friday. <br>

Dublin (14-0), which last won a state championship in 1963, advances to the state final next week against the winner of Saturday's game between Screven County and Gainesville. <br>

Wallace rushed for 147 yards on 28 carries, scoring on runs of one and seven yards. The 7-yard run came at the end of the first overtime period. <br>

J.K. Sabb rushed for 150 yards and scored two touchdowns for Laney (12-2), including an 11-yard run with 1:20 left as the Wildcats took their only lead. <br>

Laney (13-1), which has never won a GHSA state title, will play at the winner of Saturday's game between Gainesville and Screven County next week in the championship game. <br>

The Wildcats outgained the Irish 323-298 and had Dublin in a third-and-17 fix at the Laney 42 with 25 seconds left before Irish quarterback Quintez Smith hit Taylor Cox with a 20-yard pass to set up Mimbs' tying field goal, his second field goal of the day. <br>

Dublin led 10-0 entering the fourth quarter, but Sabb scored on a 14-yard run with 10:53 left to cut it to 10-6.
