BRUNSWICK - A crook robbed a Glynn County convenience store of $300 last weekend, but not before an embarrassing crash into the store's front door.
A clerk said he was doing paperwork when he heard a loud thud against the store's glass door. Looking up, he saw a man in a ski mask getting up off the ground and picking up a shotgun nearby.

Police say he tried to burst into the store to surprise the clerk. But the doors open outward, not inward. He slammed into them and fell to the ground.
The angry and apparently embarrassed bandit threatened to kill the store clerk and ordered him to put the money in a brown paper bag. He ran off and still has not been found by police.
Police say no shots were fired, and no one was injured.
