COLUMBUS - Georgia's largest insurance company has tapped the entertainer known as The Amazing Kreskin to be in a series of television ads.
Columbus-based AFLAC Insurance, a supplemental health and life insurance company, says the nationally broadcast ads are to begin airing sometime next year.
The company's best-known ads are ones in which it's represented by a duck quacking ``AFLAC!''
Kreskin, a native of Montclair, New Jersey, has performed as a magician and hypnotist. Today, he bills himself as a mentalist who is able to predict world events.
In June, he told reporters that he was sure Las Vegas was going to be visited by UFOs.
Kreskin started in the 1960s building a name with ``The Kreskin Challenge,'' a promise to pay $50,000 to anyone who could prove the existence of a hypnotic trance.
He has appeared on several late-night talk shows.
