DALLAS - A historic church in Paulding County is nothing more than ashes Friday morning but members say they will rebuild. <br>

Firefighters could not stop a massive blaze from consuming the 110-year-old First Baptist Church of Dallas Thursday. No one was injured in the fire that happened shortly after 5 p.m. <br>

A passer-by called 911 to report seeing flames. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. <br>
<br>
Thursday night, church members and city officials gathered outside as the fire engulfed the building, causing the roof to cave in. Dallas Mayor Boyd Austin said the town's memories were all there. <br>

The church's pastor - the Reverend Alton Wilson - said there's still hope the church can be rebuilt.
