PEACHTREE CITY - A flash flood watch has been posted for most of northeast Georgia for Tuesday night.
Included are Barrow, Gwinett, Jackson, Forsyth, Banks, Hall, Habersham, Stephens, Pickens, and Lumpkin counties. Also, White, Gilmer, Union, Towns, and Fannin.
The National Weather Services say rainfall amounts from one to two inches are possible across portions of north and central Georiga, with localized two or three inch amounts possible, especially near thunderstorms.
Most of the rain will fall in the 24-hour period from noon Tuesday until noon Wednesday, according to forecasters.
