MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA - Alabama's Democratic governor is awaiting a ruling from the state's Republican attorney general on a recount.
Tuesday's governor's election is still undecided.
Incumbent Don Siegelman is calling for a statewide recount after a second vote tally in a Republican county took seven-thousand votes away from the Democrat. That's more than enough votes to shift the election.
The county blames a computer glitch for the discrepancy.
The county's Republican district attorney has appealed to the state attorney general for an opinion before allowing seals to be broken on the voting machines and a hand recount completed.
