MARIETTA - A man wanted for the strangulation death of a Pizza Hut deliveryman last month was being held Monday in Cobb County jail.
22-year-old Cortez Lornell Carter of Marietta was charged last week with felony murder and robbery in the death of Paul Kevin Wojcik.
Carter turned himself in late Sunday.
The body of 45-year-old Wojcik of Smyrna was found October 16 in an apartment where he had been sent on a delivery.
Cobb police spokesman Brody Staud says investigators tracked down Carter through the phone call made to order the pizza.
Detectives also think another person was involved in the slaying, but no one else has been arrested.
Staud says robbery is believed to be the motive, even though pizza deliverymen carry very little cash.
