DECATUR - State Court Judge Wayne Purdom scheduled a second hearing next Tuesday for singer Bobby Brown after Brown's attorney said they weren't ready to make a plea.
Purdom told Brown he cannot drive and may not leave the state until the next hearing.
After the hearing, Brown signed autographs and promoted his new movie.
His attorney, Xavier Dicks, said he believed the case will be resolved on Tuesday.
Brown was wanted for failing to appear in a DeKalb County court in 1997 on charges that included driving under the influence, speeding, failing to maintain a lane and have no proof of insurance.
In Atlanta, an officer at the city jail said Brown is charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, speeding and having no driver's license or proof of insurance.
