DeMarcus Blount ran for 126 yards, including a touchdown for the Lions (3-7, 1-7 Gulf South Conference). Corry Strange led West Georgia (3-7, 7-1), throwing for 235 yards, including three touchdowns. <br>

Strange found Jesse Marinko on a 7-yard TD pass with 13:55 left in the game to make it 33-14. The Braves also scored on a 64-yard TD pass from Strange to Detronn Harris to make it 36-20 with 7:44 left. <br>

Strange hit Harris again from 27 yards out to make it 36-26 with 2:06 left. <br>

West Georgia took the early lead following a North Alabama interception. But the Lions then put up 33 unanswered points, including a 48-yard TD pass to Patrick Wilson from Hall. <br>

North Alabama had 535 offensive yards to 434 for West Georgia. The Lions gained 197 yards rushing and 338 passing. <br>

West Georgia opened the scoring with a nine-yard touchdown pass from Lucas McMichen to Joey Steadman. Blount scored for North Alabama two plays later with a 75-yard run. <br>

North Alabama led 33-7 at halftime.
