Hinske, Jennings head all-rookie team, includes Moss

NEW YORK - Colorado right-hander Jason Jennings and Toronto third baseman Eric Hinske won more honors Wednesday when they were picked for the major league rookie all-star team. <br>

Jennings, 16-8 with a 4.52 ERA, won the N.L. Rookie of the Year award earlier this month. Hinske, who hit .279 with 24 homers and 84 RBI's, was the A.L. winner. <br>
<br>
Damian Moss of the Atlanta Braves was the left-handed pitcher on the team. Moss had a 12-6 record with a 3.42 ERA. <br>
<br>
New York Yankees first baseman Nick Johnson, Oakland second baseman Mark Ellis, Detroit shortstop Ramon Santiago and Baltimore catcher Geronimo Gil also were selected. The outfielders were Cincinnati's Austin Kearns Montreal's Brad Wilkerson and Milwaukee's Alex Sanchez. <br>

Gil, Hinske, Kearns and Santiago were unanimous picks in the voting by major league managers. <br>
<br>
The team was announced by The Topps Company, which has organized the voting since 1959.
