Michigan inks Georgia standout

ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN - Michigan basketball coach Tommy Amaker says Brent Petway - a forward at Griffin High School in Georgia - has signed a letter of intent to play for the Wolverines. <br> <br> Petway was among three players to sign to play at Michigan. The others were guard Dion Harris of Detroit and forward Courtney Sims of Roslindale, Massachusetts would play for Michigan. <br> <br> The 6-foot-8, 195-pound Petway has averaged 17 points, almost 11 rebounds and close to 4 blocks after his first three years of high school basketball. <br> <br> Currently at Griffin High, Petway was named team MVP after averaging 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4.6 blocks last year. <br> <br> He played at Union Grove High in 2001 and Eagles Landing in 2000.
