COLUMBUS - Clenton Rafe returned a punt 61 yards for a touchdown and Kerenski McGhee scored two touchdowns to give Albany State a 31-7 victory over Fort Valley State on Saturday. <br>

McGhee scored on runs of 11 and 2 yards to put the game on ice in the second half for the Wildcats (7-4, 6-2 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference). <br>

Fort Valley (7-4, 6-2) got its only score on Cecil Lester's 1-yard run in the second quarter of the game played on a neutral field in Columbus before a crowd of 19,500. <br>

Warin Major led the Albany offense, running for 56 yards, including a first-quarter 9-yard scoring run, and passing for 138 yards. <br>

Albany State's other score came on a 26-yard field goal by Adrian Arango.
