ATLANTA - Governor-elect Sonny Perdue picked two Republicans Monday to represent him in the state House.
Representatives Larry O'Neal of Warner Robins and Glenn Richardson of Dallas were named Perdue's floor leaders, which means they will introduce bills Perdue wants the House to consider. The governor cannot sponsor legislation by himself.
Both O'Neal and Richardson are lawyers.
Perdue has already selected his floor leaders in the Senate, Republican Senators Bill Stephens of Canton and Dan Lee of LaGrange.
