SNELLVILLE - A 20-year-old Snellville man who had just moved out of his parents' house into his own apartment won an $11 million Lotto South jackpot drawn Saturday night.
Jeremy Beehler chose the cash option and will receive about $5.7 million before taxes.
Beehler works with his father at a commercial construction company. As was his habit, he stopped after work Friday and bought a single Quik Pick ticket, said his father, David Beehler.
On Sunday, when he realized he had won, he rushed back to his family's home and found his father working in the yard.

``He told me I don't need to clean the yard any more,'' David Beehler said. ``I don't think it's sunk in yet.''
His son has already retained a lawyer and an accountant to help him handle his new wealth, David Beehler said, adding that his son's short-term objectives are modest.
``A new truck and a house are all he's worried about,'' he said.
Beehler's winning ticket was purchased at an Amoco gas station in Lawrenceville. That station will get a $25,000 retailer bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Another Gwinnett County resident, Erika Green of Dacula, also became a millionaire at a young age. The 20-year-old warehouse worker won a $59 million jackpot in April.
