HALETOWN, TENNESSEE - A 13-year-old Georgia boy remained in critical condition Thursday night, following a fatal wreck on Interstate 24 near the Georgia state line.<br>

Four members of the Stone Mountain, Ga., family were killed and two were injured Wednesday night when their minivan flipped on the interstate, 12 miles west of Chattanooga, the Tennessee Highway Patrol said.<br>

Sampson Angelo-Koko, 13, was being treated at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tenn. Killed were Smira Angelo-Koko, 30, and her children - Sara, 10, Banga, 2, and Gimbia, 5.<br>

The woman's husband, Daldoum Angelo-Koko, 37 and the couple's two other children, aged 6 and 8, were treated for injuries and released, Erlanger Health System spokeswoman Deborah Goad said.<br>

Authorities said Daldoum Angelo-Koko was driving on I-24 in Marion County when the family's minivan veered off the road around 8:15 p.m. He overcorrected and the vehicle came back across the roadway, slid and flipped when it got back on the asphalt, trooper Cameron Azbill said.<br>

Three of the passengers were ejected from the back. Officials said the children killed were not wearing seat belts.<br>
<br>
Westbound lanes of I-24 were closed for two hours to clear the wreck.
