He was arrested about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the deaths of his girlfriend's 12-year-old son, Savion Wright, and her 83-year-old grandfather, Travis Ivery, about 3 a.m. at their home in southwest Atlanta.
Police say Martin did not resist when police closed in on him in woods less than a mile from the house where police found the family stabbed.
Martin's girlfriend - 33-year-old Tymeka Wright - and her grandmother - 77-year-old Ila Ivery - remain hospitalized.
Police say Martin made his bleeding girlfriend drive him away from the house after stabbing the family.
