Toddlers die after being left in cars

A three-year-old from Stone Mountain died Wednesday after being left in a parked car while her mother went to her job in Atlanta. The woman was charged with murder. <br> <br> The death came one day after the death of a Macon infant who was left by her mother last week for four hours in a hot car. <br> <br> Atlanta police said 28-year-old Nakia Burgess of Stone Mountain took her daughter, Asante, to her job in northeast Atlanta and left the child in a car seat. When she checked on the girl later, she found her unconsious. <br> <br> Burgess was charged with murder and cruelty to children. A hearing is scheduled for tomorrow. <br> <br> In Macon, eight-month-old Reagan Gray had been on life support since she was found Friday in a parking lot. <br> <br> Her mother, Sheree Davis Gray, told police she thought she had taken her baby to a relative&#39;s house before she went to work that day. Gray could face criminal charges.
