CANTON - Parts of Interstate 575 were shut down early Friday morning because of a vapor cloud at a chicken plant. <br>

The ConAgra chicken processing plant was evacuted after two chemicals were mixed together about 4 a.m, according to WSB Radio. <br>

The interstate was closed in both directions between exits 14 and 16, Canton and Holly Springs. <br>
<br>
Officials said the chemicals are not supposed to be dangerous, but a vapor cloud formed after the two were mixed. <br>
<br>
No injuries were reported. There is nothing on the interstate, but authorities said they wanted to make sure the vapors did not cause problems for commuters.
