Sheriff's ride for youth homes 'huge success'

By by Ken Stanford
UNDATED - More than 300 motorcycle enthusiasts took advantage of excellent weather a week ago to join in the Second Annual Ride for Georgia Sheriff's Youth Homes, which was organized by the Forsyth and Hall county sheriff's offices.

This year's ride raised more than $15,000 and the proceeds were presented by Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton to Bud Codey, Sr., Executive Vice President of the Georgia Sheriff's Association.

"This year's ride was almost twice the size of last year's and was a huge success," Paxton said.
