CARROLLTON - An 8-year-old girl was rescued Tuesday night after falling 45 feet into a well in the backyard of her Carroll County home. <br>

The girl, identified only as Jasmine, held onto a garden hose to keep above the water for about half an hour before District Chief Greg Washington of Carroll County Fire and Rescue was lowered into the well and pulled her to safety. <br>

She was taken to Tanner Medical Center, cold and complaining about one of her arms. <br>
<br>
Jasmine was jumping on the well covering and fell through.
