ATLANTA - Absentee ballots are available for military personnel and overseas residents in all but one Georgia county, after a delay of almost three weeks.
Twenty-five days remain until the November 5 general election. Some voters will have to get their ballots back to Georgia to meet that deadline.

In order to be counted, ballots must be returned by the time the polls close at 7 p.m. on election day.
Randolph County in southwest Georgia is the only county where absentee ballots are not available. Qualifying for a special election in one county commission race ends Friday.
But county officials have not received any ballot requests from overseas voters so far.
Counties missed the deadline because of this year's compressed election schedule.
