The National Weather Service is predicting more rain will hit Georgia Monday night. <br>

Heavy weekend storms dumped more than half a foot of rain between Atlanta and Macon. They will be replaced later this week by a big chill, with temperatures dipping well into the 40s. <br>

The storms developed ahead of a cold front that is expected to become a low pressure system in the Gulf of Mexico. <br>
<br>
Saturday night's heaviest rainfall was in an area stretching from just south of Atlanta to near Macon. <br>
<br>
Rainfall totals included seven inches just west of Macon in Roberta, 6.05 inches in Branesville and 3.06 inches in Peachtree City.
