ATLANTA - Walk-on P.J. Daniels has joined the Georgia Tech tailback mix.
The redshirt freshman from Houston has received more work in recent practices and will play in the Yellow Jackets' game at Maryland on Thursday night.
Daniels was a standout in high school, where he rushed for more than 1,600 yards as a senior.

He received scholarship offers from Stanford, Northwestern, and Tulane but was forced to walk on at Tech after not posting a high enough SAT before national signing day.
Tony Hollings' knee injury and Sidney Ford's concussion have put Daniels in a position to play.
