Thrashers activate Tamer; place Krupp on injured reserve

ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA - The Atlanta Thrashers activated defenseman Chris Tamer from injured reserve Friday. <br>

Tamer missed the Thrashers first three games with a back injury. <br>
<br>
Atlanta also placed defenseman Uwe Krupp on IR. He missed his third straight game Friday night with back spasms.
