LIVINGSTON, ALABAMA - Brett Gilliland threw for 375 yards and a pair of touchdowns as West Alabama withstood a West Georgia comeback for a 35-32 victory on Saturday. <br>

West Alabama (4-3, 2-3 Gulf South Conference) trailed 32-28 with less than two minutes left when Gilliland threw 13 yards to Gerald Gales for a touchdown. Gales also had a 63-yard punt return to score in the third. <br>

Gilliland was 35 of 47 for 375 yards with no interceptions. Gales caught 13 passes for 148 yards. <br>

West Georgia (4-3, 2-3) trailed 14-0 at the half, but had three unanswered touchdowns in the third and fourth, first on 9-yard pass from Lucas McMichen to Joey Steadman, and then a pair of 1-yard runs by Brendan Glover. Glover had 169 yards on 24 carries. <br>

The Tigers took the halftime lead on a pair of Presley Gilmore touchdowns, first with 5-yard pass by Gilliland, and then a 13-yard run in the second.
