AUGUSTA - Ontreal Bowers scored two of this three touchdowns in the final 2:31 to lead Savannah State to a 21-20 victory over Morris Brown on Saturday. <br>

Bowers scored on an 11-yard run with 2:31 remaining to cap a 75-yard drive and then scored from the 1 with 10 seconds to play, capping a 69-yard game-winning drive. <br>

Bowers, who had 115 yards on 23 carries, also scored on a 1-yard run less than five minutes into the final period of a game that left both teams with a 1-6 record. <br>

Savannah State had built a 20-9 lead with 4:12 to play when James Thornton returned an interception 45 yards for a score. <br>

The Tigers other score came on Kyle McCrery's 28-yard field goal inthe second quarter. <br>

Cedric Jordan gave Morris Brown the lead on a 6-yard run in the opening period the Wolverines stretched the lead to 14-3 on a 56-yard run by Christopher Woods less than a minute into the final quarter. <br>
<br>
Woods had 100 yards on only six carries.
