Major ran for 74 yards and scored on a 5-yard run in the third period and passed for 196 yards, including an 18-yard scoring pass to Bryan Thomas, also in the third. <br>

The victory lifted Albany State to 4-4 overall and 3-2 in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Clark Atlanta, which failed to complete a pass in seven attempts with two interceptions, fell to 2-6, 1-5. <br>
