RUSSELLVILLE, ARKANSAS - Brett Hobbs scored on a 75-yard fumble recovery with two minutes left in the first half to ensure Arkansas Tech's 14-12 Gulf South Conference victory Saturday despite West Georgia's superior passing and rushing performance. <br>

Tech (3-5 overall, 2-4 GSC) got its only other touchdown on a 5-yard run by Nemi Rodgers in the first quarter. Tech led 14-3 at the half. <br>

West Georgia (3-5,1-5) surged forward after a 38-yard field goal by Trevor Ramos in the third quarter, followed by a 1-yard scoring pass from Bo Bartik to Detronn Harris with 7:17 left in the game. <br>

Arkansas Tech net only 64 yards rushing and 58 yards passing to West Georgia's 122 and 202 yards. <br>

For Tech, Mark Ewersmann completed 5-of-12 for 58 yards. <br>
