Calvin Pace, a senior from Douglasville, recorded his 28th and 29th career sacks in Wake Forest's 31-0 shutout of the North Carolina, and was named the defensive lineman of the week. Pace moved to within one sack of tying Wakes all-time record-holder, Michael McCrary, who had 30 sacks from 1989-1992.
