ATLANTA - Emory University is one of eleven institutions nationwide to receive five million dollars for specialized research on women's health. <br>

The National Institutes of Health selected Emory to research how gender affect women's health. <br>

Emory will study the effects of anti-epileptic and psychotropic medications during pregnancy and lactation. Other centers will analyze adverse pregnancy outcomes, substance abuse, pain sensitivity and fetal drug exposure. <br>
<br>
The centers will develop new ways to approach gender-related health problems.
