Judge orders married couple who fought in church to attend classes

COLUMBUS - A judge ordered a married couple who exchanged blows in a church to attend anger-management classes. <br> <br> Charles Wise, 49, and his wife, 50-year-old Barbara Ann Wise, pleaded innocent to simple-battery charges Wednesday. <br> <br> Police were not called to the Baptist church but later came to their home. <br> <br> Barbara Ann Wise told police officer A.K. Hurt that her husband pushed her against a pickup truck in the church&#39;s parking lot Sunday morning. She followed him into the building and struck him on the head with an umbrella. Her husband then pushed her to the ground and slapped her face several times. <br> <br> Several churchgoers and the pastor pulled them apart. <br> <br> The Wises said they did not want to press charges against each other. <br> <br> ``I can&#39;t just let it be dismissed, especially since it happened at a church,&#39;&#39; Judge Mary Buckner said. ``It needs to be controlled before it goes too far.&#39;&#39;
