GAINESVILLE - It was not all "work" Thursday as thousands of Hall Countians and their fellow Georgians tried to cope with the snow.
Kids and "kids at heart" all over the place were enjoying the biggest snowfall to hit the state since 1993.
Sleds were dusted off and just about any hill became an instant playground.
And, snowmen, some of them pretty elaborate, still dotted the countryside this morning.
Up to eight inches of the white stuff were reported in some areas south of Atlanta.
Here in Hall County, the totals ranged from 4-6 inches in most places.
By Friday morning, most streets and roads were free of ice and snow, but, some secondary streets and roads still had a lot of snow and ice on them and many driveways and parking lots were still ice-coated.
