Pro golfer Larry Mize hopes to be ready to participate in the Masters in April in Augusta. Mize will be missing a few PGA Tour events while recovering from a cracked collar bone and a broken rib on his left side.<br>

The former Georgia Tech golfer suffered the injuries when he fell from a horse while riding at his parent's home in Augusta.<br>

The 1987 Masters champion quipped, ``The ground got in my way when I landed. I don't remember much other than being on the horse one minute and the next minute being on the ground.''<br>

His injuries required no surgery, but doctors told Mize to expect a recovery time of two to three months. The Masters beings April 11.
