A season's worth of meat and costly preparation equipment were destroyed at Dorminey's Deer in Franklin County. <br>

The owner and his wife live nearby and woke up when they heard the fire crackling. They estimated that meat from hundreds of deer were inside. <br>

Fire officials say the cause appears to be electrical. The facility made deer jerky and prepared venison for hunters who paid to for the treatment.
